The room at The Granary Country Retreat was super cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area to relax and unwind. The flat-screen TV was a great addition for some nighttime entertainment. The private bathroom with a hairdryer was a definite plus, making it easy to get ready in the morning. I felt right at home in the room.
Some units at The Granary Country Retreat have shared bathrooms, which I personally didn't prefer. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

We went hiking in the breathtaking countryside, explored ancient ruins, and had thrilling adventures on zip lines. The hosts were super cool and gave us insider tips on the best places to party nearby. The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed for a great time.
The only bummer was that there wasn't a dedicated party area or a DJ booth. It would have been even more fun if we had a place to dance and crank up the music.

Remote location, green and quiet. Friendly hosts, helpful with hand-drawn map. Comfortable, spacious house with books and tourist material. Tranquil break, well-equipped cottage. Beautifully decorated hut with outside space. Comfortable bed, kind gifts. Clean house. Beautiful & peaceful location, self-catering unit. Compact but had everything needed, lovely shortbread biscuits. Meals outside in beautiful weather.

The peaceful and tranquil location of this retreat was perfect for a Christmas getaway. The owners were lovely and helpful and made us feel welcome. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a collection of DVDs and books. The 3G signal and broadband internet in the sitting room was an added bonus for those who needed to stay connected. The stunning views from the patio area were a definite highlight, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit, taking in the surroundings.
The weather was not on our side during our stay, which limited our ability to explore the beautiful surroundings. It would have been great to have had better weather to fully appreciate the location.

A fantastic place for a peaceful getaway. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, with friendly hosts. The location provided a restful atmosphere and was within reach of Tregaron. The Granary is remote, but that added to its charm. The hosts were helpful, giving us a hand-drawn map to a nearby lake. The cottage accommodated our group of five perfectly. It was stocked with books and tourist information for exploring. I can't praise Shelly and Joe enough for making our stay truly special. Can't wait to return!
Totally recommend this hotel.

The remote location offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were incredibly friendly and even provided a hand-drawn map to help me explore the nearby lake. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, accommodating all five of us effortlessly. I especially appreciated the collection of books and tourist material that allowed us to make the most of our surroundings. Although the lack of wifi at the unit we stayed in was a minor inconvenience, it was easily resolved with a short walk to pick up the connection. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this tranquil haven to anyone seeking peace and rejuvenation.

I had the most incredible stay at the Granary Country Retreat. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by hills and trees, providing a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. The self-catering accommodation had everything I needed for a short stay, including tea, coffee, and delicious shortbread biscuits. The owners, Shelley and Joe, were kind and welcoming, offering advice on nearby fishing spots. The property itself had all the amenities one could ask for, making it truly a home away from home. It was the perfect place to rejuvenate my spirits, with opportunities to explore the 32 acres of land, feed the sheep, and enjoy the babbling brook in the valley. The nearby towns of New Quay, Aberystwyth, and Aberaeron offered plenty to do and explore. I had a fantastic experience at the Granary Country Retreat and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a peaceful getaway.

The peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of this little haven was just what we needed. The location, tucked away in a quiet area, offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and trees. We loved the fact that the property had everything we needed for a self-catering stay, including a well-equipped kitchen. Additionally, the owners were lovely and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The only downside we experienced was a slight issue with the hot water boiler in the bath, which didn't dispense enough water for a full bath. However, this was easily resolved as the showers provided a constant flow of warm water.
